Week 19: How Great Are Your Gifts

¡Familia y Amigos!

This last week was so amazing! Being a missionary is so awesome! Transfers are next week, so I might not get a p-day so ya... But crazy it's already been 6 weeks! Also mom can you please send my quilt and my coat, it's getting a tad chilly out here for an Arizona Girl!

We have been teaching a family these last few weeks and they are awesome! They were going to originally come to the visitor center but the brakes on their car were so bad the brake pads had melted! They were also going to go to our baptism and to church, but it's kinda hard to get anywhere without a car that works! So we asked our district to pray that they would find a way to church. Prayer works people. Our ward mission leader lives across the street and he works on cars and he fixed it late Saturday night and three of them came to church on Sunday! We were so excited, and everything that was talked about in church was the perfect lead into what we felt we needed to teach them! This is truly the Lords work.

Our Spanish investigator isn't going to be baptized in October because we don't have enough time to teach her all the lessons by the end of the month, and she hasn't set another date yet, but we really hope we can set a date in November for her to work toward, and it will all work out in the Lords time.

Moroni 10: 8 says 'And again, I exhort you, my brethren, that ye deny not the gifts of God, for they are many; and they come from the same God. And there are different ways that these gifts are administered; but it is the same God who worketh all in all; and they are given by the manifestations of the Spirit of God unto men, to profit them.'

Each of us have such individual gifts that God has given us to help those around us. I have come to gain such a strong testimony that all of the people in our lives are to help refine us in one way or another, and that the gifts that we have been given personally are to help lift the others around us up. So take Moroni's advice seriously. Do not deny the gifts the Lord has given you. I promise that as you seek out the gifts and talents you have been blessed with, the Lord will help you know what they are and how you can use them. He needs you more than you know, and don't let the adversary sway you. I love you all so much an cannot begin to express the love I have for each of you for sharing those gifts with me to help me better.

I hope you all have a week full of miracles!

Abrazos y Oraciones
